For nearly 100 years, the Tryon Garden Club has preserved and protected Pearson's Falls and Glen, a biological preserve and Natural Heritage Site unlike anywhere else in the region.
We're entering an exciting new chapter, and we're looking for new stewards to help lead the way.
Our mission is simple but enduring: to preserve and protect, educate and collaborate, and beautify and treasure this extraordinary cove forest for generations to come.
Board members play a vital role in that mission, helping guide our fundraising strategy and growth, and serving as trusted advisors to our staff leadership to ensure they have the support and resources needed to carry out our work.
What we're looking for
We welcome applicants from all backgrounds who share a genuine passion for conservation, land stewardship, and protecting natural spaces - whether through prior experience in your own community or simply a deep appreciation for places like Pearson's Falls and Glen.
