Friends of the Falls is a membership program for those who cherish the beauty, history, and ecological importance of Pearson’s Falls & Glen.
For nearly a century, the Tryon Garden Club has protected this remarkable 300-acre botanical preserve - home to hundreds of native plant species, mature forest habitat, and the iconic 90-foot waterfall that draws visitors from across the region.
Today, the Glen remains one of the few privately maintained natural preserves of its kind, cared for through the dedication and support of those who value its protection.
Membership helps ensure that this special place remains preserved, protected, and accessible for generations to come.
Your support directly helps provide:
Preservation of native plants and wildflowers
Trail maintenance and visitor safety
Habitat protection and conservation work
Educational programs and community outreach
Ongoing stewardship of the Glen and waterfall
By becoming a Friend of the Falls, you take part in the long tradition of stewardship that has allowed the Glen to remain a sanctuary for native plants, wildlife, and all who come here seeking its quiet beauty.
Your membership is more than a donation, it’s a commitment to preservation, to community, and to the belief that places like Pearson’s Falls & Glen should endure.
Become part of the community that helps preserve the natural beauty of Pearson’s Falls & Glen.
Your support ensures that this treasured place will continue to inspire visitors, educate future generations, and protect the rich biodiversity of the Blue Ridge foothills.
