Education Programs
For nearly a century, Pearson's Falls and Glen has been more than a place to visit, it has been a place to learn, and that has always been part of its purpose. With the addition of our Kirby Education Pavilion, we welcome back students of all ages.
A Living Classroom
Set within a nearly 300-acre botanical preserve featuring over 310 species of wildflowers and plants, the Glen offers a living classroom unlike anything found between four walls. We welcome public, private, and home school groups as well as local camps to experience the natural world up close — on the trail, beside the water, and beneath the canopy of one of the most extraordinary cove forests in the region.
Field trips to Pearson's Falls connect students to the kind of learning that stays with them — the kind that happens when curiosity meets a place this alive.
We offer free admission for field trips Tuesdays and Wednesdays for public schools and registered home schools. Camps and private schools inquire a small donation to the Preserve.
