We are thrilled to announce that Pearson's Falls & Glen will be reopening its gates 24 July 2026. After a period of closure and careful restoration work following significant damage to the roads leading to the preserve, we are preparing to welcome visitors back to the trails, the wildflowers, and the waterfall they have come to love.

We are so grateful for your patience, your continued support, and your enduring love for this special place. The Glen has missed you, and we cannot wait to see you on the trails again soon.

WHAT’S NEW

Admission is $10 per person. Visits are scheduled and capacity is limited to ensure a peaceful, unhurried experience deep in the Glen. ONLINE RESERVATIONS LAUNCHING SOON.

Kirby Education Pavilion : A beautiful new gathering space for school groups, nonprofits, and community organizations, funded by the Polk County Community Foundation.

New Programming : Guided hikes, night hikes, geology and nature talks, forest bathing, nature photography, yoga, and more. Something for every kind of nature lover. COMING SOON.

Membership & Giving : Support the Glen through membership tiers and giving options. All proceeds fund operations, preservation, and free educational visits for schools and nonprofits. COMING SOON.

Our Team

Andy Ruff, our Guardian of the Glen and Director of Operations, continues to steward this remarkable forest. We are also thrilled to welcome Jen CK Jacobs as our first full-time Executive Director, bringing fresh energy and vision to our next 100 years.
